After thoughts

After two years of constant news about the candidates running for President, we are now free from the incessant sound bites.  What do we do now?  We go on living our lives as we always should—loving God, loving our family, loving our nation.  As believers we should always seek first the kingdom of God.  How do we do that?  By participating in all the spiritual disciplines of normal Christianity.  Let’s make Christianity attractive by returning to a passionate relationship with Christ.  Far too many Christians just live a dutiful, apathetic, boring life and don’t ever fully realize that we are here as agents of God to bring the life and hope of God to the earth.  Read more and check out video updates from the Phillipines.

Continue to Pray

Thanks to all of you who have pressed into prayer during this urgent hour in our nation’s history!  We are going to continue this prayer movement with prayer watches Monday through Friday at 6am, Noon, and 6pm.  I ask that you commit to come to as many prayer watches as you can, and believe for God to continue to move in our nation!

Also, I ask that you pray for me as I leave for the Philippines this Thursday, as I go to lead pastors in how to pray for their country and how to establish a prayer center in their nation.  Here is a list of things you can pray for:

  • Pray for health and travel protection.
  • Pray for the anointing of God to be present everywhere we go and in everything we do.
  • Pray for divine favor and connection with the leaders in the Philippines.
  • Pray a covering of protection and health over my family as I step out into the plan of God.

Blessings,

Pastor Ken Wilde
