Day After
One day after the election and everyone has an opinion and everyone has a reaction. My response is first of all—when I got up this morning God was still in charge; the kingdom of God is still intact; the church is still the instrument of God to be salt and light to the world. We tend to put too much emotion and energy into the results of political decisions. Every four years we get the privilege of choosing our president and as I have said before that is one of the most sacred things that our founding fathers left to us. We should work with all of our heart to get those elected who represent our biblical world-view. But once they are elected they are our leaders and must respected as such. Our role as believers never changes. We are still to be actively involved in our primary responsibility, which is the Great Commission.
