Weekly Prayer Points

Please join with us in prayer as we address the following:

Our Leaders…That they find wisdom through the fear of the Lord and that they choose to make courageous decisions in the face of daunting obstacles.

Wall Street…That greed would be replaced by serving the interests of others and by the virtue of generosity.

Main Street…. That we as Americans can focus our reliance on God as our provider and break free from the debt enslaving us

Prayer Points:
1. Pray that God would get the attention of our leaders though this economic crisis.

2. Pray that partisanship would be abandoned and would be replaced by a spirit of cooperation–for the sake of the nation.

3. Pray that Christians would make getting out of debt a high priority.

4. Pray that this crisis would stir the nations believers to a new level of prayer and intercession.

5. Pray that a biblical solution would be applied to this economic crisis.

National Prayer Center

This week we are hosting the Capital Interns at the “National Prayer Center” in Washington, D.C.  Please be in prayer for us as we spend time praying over our nation and with our leaders.  1 Timothy 2:1-4 says, “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— 2for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”  Also, today we will be attending the City Church D.C. service as they celebrate their 1 year anniversary!  Thank-you for your prayful support.
