LOOKING BACK ON THE WEEK
As we concluded last week and the completion of our 17 prayer watches and praying for each individual state, I was struck by God’s love for each of these states and His profound love for every single person. God deeply desires to heal our nation so that people will not have to endure such terrible life situations at the hands of the enemy. After watching almost a thousand people attend these seventeen prayer watches, I was also moved by people’s commitment to prayer when asked. It has been a most profound week as we all have set aside time to prayer as a local church body together three times a day and believe that it will make a difference in our nation. I believe God has been hearing our prayers. I believe that He will begin instituting His actions as we continue to call on His name.
As we now move into a second week of state prayer, I am anticipating even greater results in the spiritual realm. Each state brings with it prophetic understanding of what is going on in the state and how to pray for it. We can then hit the mark as we pray. Even today I felt a revelation of what to pray for in a single congressional district. God loves to be specific.
Thank you to all who have participated in our National Prayer Surge leading up to the election. It is working and God is moving. Make it apart of your ongoing spiritual disciplines. Together we can make a difference and hopefully help change America to a nation who still trusts in and believes in God Almighty.
