Holiday Breakfast @ the Grove’s

Wednesday December 3, 2008 breakfast at the Grove’s.

Interns show up wearing your favorite Holiday sweater.  Also, bring a homemade gift ready to exchange.  Yes, you have to make something!  Be creative!  See you at 10.

Prayer, Praise & Prophecy

Beginning November 12th we will begin a new Capital INTERN study intensive.  The primary emphasis of this study is on pursuing God in the areas of prayer, praise, and prophecy. The importance of simply learning to pursue God is the topic of the introductory session, followed by sessions that focus more on aspects of prayer, praise (worship), and prophecy, either distinctly or in conjunction with the others.  We will post portions of lecture, so feel free to check back in from time to time.

And the Emmy goes to…

The Interns were divided up into teams.  The assignment was to act out an event or represent a person from early church history.  Teams were judged on three categories; creativity, custom & content.  All in all it was pretty cheesy but very entertaining at the same time! Team scores: Dan-37, Alaina-28, Sarah-26, Kenrick-24.5
