Oh what a fun month! Not only are we approaching the greatest holiday ever (Christmas) but we are involved in two interesting class subjects. Our focus this month is on Eschatology & Sexual Character. I’m not sure how these two topics landed in the same month but how fitting it is! I often prayed a prayer like this as a young lad, “God, please don’t come back until I get married Amen.” The word “married” was code word for sex. Be honest, you probably prayed the same prayer or still pray that prayer currently.
We began a “Sexual Character” series in our YP717 service and I felt it necessary to continue this topic throughout the month with our Capital Interns. It is our responsibility and privilege to live sexually pure and walk in the freedom and fulfillment of God. Coupled with this teaching we are engaged in a challenging course on Eschatology by Dr. Stan Fleming entitled “Servants of the Third Watch”.
